Hello Everyone! With all the talk about the big snow storm that is expected to hit the East Coast this weekend I thought I would share my 5 easy steps for having fun in the snow. The best part, no humans needed. So what do you say, grab your ball and lets get to playing.Ā
First you want to find the perfect spot in the snow.
Next, place the ball in the snow and with your nose roll the ball forward.
Now, my favorite part, you want to pounce on the ball with all your might.
Then you dig the ball through the snow. Not only does this clean the ball and your paws, but also adds a bit of hide and go seek element to the game.
Finally, you retrieve the ball and start over at a new spot.
There you have it, 5 easy steps for playing in the snow that will lead to hours of entertainment. Now get out there and have some fun.
Don’t forget to enter for your chance to win three bags of Spot Farms dog treats. There will be two lucky winners. Here is the link to the review post: GIVEAWAY POST.

Wow! That is a lot of snow. Unfortunately, we never have enough snow to hide a ball in it. Our blizzards are usually 1 or 2 inches. BOL!
Phod always loses his ball in the snow, and this stresses him out so we use a disc. He does the same.
Don’t forget Bailie’s favorite thing to do. Find all the toys that are buried in the snow from earlier months! Enjoy!
Very clever to figure out how to play fetch by yourself.
Great steps to a whole lot of fun. Enjoy the snow and your weekend.
Wish we had snow!…. all we’ve got is rain for days!!!
We only had a very light scatter of snow, but good tips!
Well that looks like a lot of fun! Very resourceful of you to find a way to play independently. No snow here in Phoenix, but we’ll try it next time we head to snow country!
That looks like so much more fun that the usual game of fetch the ball.
We miss having dogs in the house! Thanks for sharing the fun!
I love how you’re playing hide and seek with yourself! Mr. N will toss his toys around for himself but not in snow!
Looks like you are having a blast! My dogs will play like that inside, but they don’t really like snow that much.
Ha, I know Kiki would love that! I’ve thrown the tennis ball for her to start her off, and then she’ll pounce on it and toss it herself for awhile before we do it again š
BOL! Awesome pawsome instructions that are easy to follow š I especially love the pouncing part!!
BOL! Great job!
Looks like you’re having so much fun in the snow! We got about an eighth of an inch here last night! Big snow fun for Atlanta dogs! LOL!
I don’t think my kitties would appreciate it if I took them out in the snow, haha. But your game sounds like fun! I miss playing with my old neighbor’s dog – she was a lot of fun. š
That is a great game, Spencer! You sure know how to have fun. I hope that you and your family are safe and warm through the storm if it hits you. It looks like the storm will bypass us. Keep on being adorable! š

Those are some fabulous tips. The east coast doggies should be able to use them this weekend for sure.
These are some fun activities! Chuleta has amended these activities to include 1.) casually strutting around the yard and 2.) standing by the door, so I know she desperately wants to come inside.
Those steps are super easy! Love it š Great photos. Have fun in the snow!
What great photos! I love how much joy they show š
